The Ottawa Branch is pleased to present piping and drumming workshops on Saturday, March 7 at HMCS Bytown, 78 Lisgar Street.
The workshops will be conducted by Terry Tully and Stephen Creighton of the 2010 World Pipe Band Champions St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band from Ireland.
The morning sessions will be aimed at beginner to intermediate levels, with the afternoon sessions reserved for more advanced players. Areas of instruction will include musical performance as well as instrument setup and maintenance. Participants will require practice chanters or sticks/pads, and workshop materials will be distributed on the day.
