Smiths Falls Results
The fifth annual “Highland on the Rideau” Scottish festival took place Saturday, June 25th in Smiths Falls. The games featured solo and band contests, as well as new highland dancing competitions and heavy events. The games is organized by the Smiths Falls Gordon Pipe Band, which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year.

2016 Eastern Ontario Champion Supreme
The PPBSO Ottawa Branch is once again aggregating competitors’ results at contests across Eastern Ontario. Standings will be updated throughout the summer. Winners will be contacted before the first Ottawa Branch Knockout event in October 2016, when awards will be presented.
For 2016, the PPBSO Ottawa Branch will be using the solo and band point calculations as defined in the PPBSO Rule Book. Points are allocated depending on the number of competitors registered in the contest, as well as competitors’ placings. For details, please consult the PPBSO Rule Book. Ties will be broken according to PPBSO rules.
