November 12th – PPBSO AGM Recap
The PPBSO AGM took place in Brantford on November 12th. Four of the five motions presented by the Ottawa Branch were passed by the membership. A full recap of the meeting can be found here on pipes|drums.
November 17th – Will Woodson & Eric MacDonald with The Trousers
Small piper/guitar powerhouse William Woodson and Eric McDonald are coming to Ottawa and sharing the stage with The Trousers (Ross Davison and Karson McKeown). Location and other information can be found here.
November 19th – George Sherriff Memorial Invitational
Ten top Grade 1 pipers from across North America will compete in the 21st Annual George Sherriff Memorial Invitational in Hamilton on November 19th. The event will be judged by Andrew Hayes (Ottawa), Shaunna Hilder (British Columbia), and Donald MacPhee (Scotland). All information about the event can be found on the event website.
November 26th – Ottawa Branch Knockout
The next Ottawa Branch Knockout will take place on November 26th at the HMCS Bytown Naval Officers’ Mess in downtown Ottawa. The evening will feature the A Piping MSR contest, A Drumming H/J, as well as B Drumming and 40+ Drumming 6/8 march events. Details available here. We look forward to seeing you there!
