Piobaireachd, Summer Blast Early Bird Registration and PPBSO Summer Series

Summer Blast!

Register before April 30th for a chance to win free tuition

Potential students have until April 30th to complete their registration in order to be eligible for a week of free tuition. All registered at this point, plus additional registrations up until April 30 will go into a draw for the free week of tuition!

In addition, one student who is 18 or under will be considered for a free week of tuition. This is a prize donated by R. G. Hardie Bagpipes in Scotland. All the student needs to do is submit a letter (250 words or less) outlining why they believe they would be a worthy recipient. They may choose to submit a video recording of their playing along with their letter.

Submit your videos by May 15th

Since 2018, the Ottawa Branch has held an annual piobaireachd contest for amateur pipers. This year, we are hosting the event online through a video submission contest format (which we used for the Knockouts).

Competing is FREE for Branch members: The 2020-21 season marks the 50th anniversary of the Ottawa Branch. To mark this milestone, participation will be FREE for all Branch members that have paid their membership dues.

Judges for this event will be Colin MacLellan and Andrew Hayes.
