The PPBSO Ottawa Branch is proud to host competitions for solo pipers, drummers, and pipe bands throughout the year.

Knockout Series

The Ottawa Branch Knockouts have been a staple in the region for decades. The series has multiple divisions for pipers and drummers.

Glengarry Cup

The Glengarry Cup is  Ottawa's premier invitational piping competition, featuring both Piobaireachd and MSR contests.

Amateur Piobaireachd

Piobaireachd is the classical music of the bagpipe. Since 2018, the Ottawa Branch has held an annual piobaireachd contest for amateur pipers.

Ottawa Indoors

Enjoy solo piping and drumming competitions in the morning, followed by quartet, drum salute, and band competitions.​​

 

Champion Supreme Points will be awarded for solo events to competitors who are current members of the PPBSO or an officially recognized affiliated society.​
