
Glengarry Cup
Professional Piping Contest
The Glengarry Cup is a competition for professional pipers. Each year, professional pipers from Ontario and abroad compete for this trophy.
The trophy has been awarded since the 1980s when it was donated by the Glengarry Pipe Band. Past winners include Colin MacLellan, Andrew Hayes, Bruce Gandy, Michael Grey, Rob Crabtree, Andrea Boyd, Matt MacIsaac and many others.
Glengarry Cup 2025
On Saturday, September 27th, the Ottawa Branch of the Pipers’ and Pipe Band Society of Ontario held the Glengarry Cup. The event was hosted at the Jr Ranks mess , located in the heart of Ottawa with the Piobaireachd contest throughout the day followed by an MSR contest in the evening. Judges for both events were Brian Williamson, Bruce Gandy, and Brian Williamson.
