Participation is open to anyone!
Our events are open to anyone, but registering as a member has several benefits.

Membership registration is handled centrally by the Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario's head office in Oakville.
Why Join?
Your membership fee supports the Branch
A portion ($10.00) of your Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario membership fee goes directly to the Ottawa Branch.

This support gives us the ability to undertake educational initiatives and host numerous competitions and events each year.
Membership Benefits
Event discounts
Branch members who show their membership card at events gain access at a reduced rate.
Competition discounts
Branch members can enter our contests for a reduced fee, or in some cases free of charge.
Education discounts
Fees associated with our PDQB education initiative are lower for Branch members.
Competition eligibility
Membership makes you eligible to compete in contests organized by the main body of the Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario.

Recognized piping and drumming organizations elsewhere will also accept your membership, allowing you to compete in your sanctioned grade outside Ontario.
Champion supreme
Competing members will have their results tabulated in two aggregate series, one managed by the Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario, and our own Eastern Ontario Champion Supreme.
