Branch Events, D4D and Kingston Scottish Festival Cancelled

The Ottawa Branch is cancelling or postponing the remainder of its spring 2020 events. Events hosted by other organizations in Eastern Ontario are also being postponed or cancelled.

Amidst this uncertainty caused by COVID-19 and given the need to observe social distancing, it is important to stay connected virtually. Keep an eye out for a future post with a couple ideas on how to keep some tunes going through it all.

We wish good health to everyone and look forward to when we’ll be able to reconnect in person.

Kingston Scottish Festival

A message from the Kingston Scottish Festival:

“It is with regret that the Kingston Scottish Festival Executive Committee has decided to cancel the festival for the 2020 season. In light of concerns with respect to COVID-19, the committee felt it was best to put public health and safety first and foremost for our participants, attendees and vendors. We look forward to resuming the event for 2021. All registrations for piping, drumming and dancing will be refunded.”
