In light of the large winter storm headed toward central and eastern Ontario, the Branch executive has decided to cancel this weekend’s Glengarry Cup professional MSR contest.
While some of the latest models predict a lull in precipitation for Saturday evening, nearly half of our competitors will be travelling long distances earlier in the day and on Sunday, when freezing rain and snow will be at its worst.
The Branch is looking to reschedule this event, likely for some time in the fall. This will be confirmed in the near future.
We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to seeing you at the next Branch event — the Ottawa Indoor Highland Games — on May 5th, by which point there might be some semblance of spring!
