More about Ed Bush

Ed Bush has long been a familiar name to all those in the piping/drumming circuit Eastern Ontario region and beyond. Ed has always been extremely well known for his prodigious talents on the bagpipes, but it is the hundreds and hundreds of hours that he has devoted to teaching, judging, working with bands and organizing pipe band related events that truly set him apart from most in our community.

Ed’s accomplishments are numerous, and include 3rd place in the Silver Medal at the Argyllshire Gathering in Oban, and a rare double win of the Piobaireachd Society Gold Medal (Canada) and Bar on the same day in 2012, to name just a few!

In December 2008, the Branch featured a biography about Ed. Click here to read more about Ed’s piping career.

Congratulations Ed!
