Friendly reminder: the Ottawa Branch has decided to not hold an indoor games in 2022, and do look forward to the event returning in 2023. We will hold a virtual amateur piobaireachd event, details to follow.


Amateur Piobaireachd event


The Ottawa Branch is pleased to once again hold an amateur piobaireachd event, in the Novice, Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories. The deadline to submit and register will be Saturday 7th May 2022, 11:00 PM (EST).

It’s not too late to register for Summer Blast!


Summer Blast is an annual summer school presented by The Pipers' & Pipe Band Society of Ontario with the aim of improving the musicianship of pipers and drummers of all ages and skill level. This year the school will run July 4-8.

The school is staffed by some of the world's most experienced and skilled instructors for five days of collegial online music-making.

2022 Highland Games Entries are Open!


The 2022 Highland Games season supported by The Pipers’ & Pipe Band Society of Ontario is scheduled and set to go! Master entry forms for both pipe bands and solo competitors are now online and available for easy sign-up.


The calendar of Highland Games once again assures all participants a full and music-filled summer season:


  • June 11 – Georgetown “Central Canadian Championships”

  • June 18 – Cobourg

  • June 25 – Kingsville “Ontario Championships”

  • July 1 – Embro

  • July 2 – Kincardine

  • July 16 – Cambridge

  • July 29-30 – Maxville “North American Championships”

  • August 13 – Fergus “Canadian Championships”

  • August 27 – Almonte
