Ottawa Branch Indoor Highland Games 2015

The annual Ottawa Branch Indoor Highland Games saw yet another successful year come and go, with a strong turnout in both the band and solo events as everyone gears up for the upcoming competitive season. Rob Roy were the big winners in the grade 3 band contest, with Nico Gravel winning the Grade 1 piobaireachd event playing A Flame of Wrath for Patrick Caogach. Ross Davison took home the piper of the day trophy as the overall top amateur soloist.

The day also saw the reins being passed from the previous branch executive to new incumbents. A very big thank you must go out to past branch president Chris Dodson and co-secretaries Susan Lunn and James van de Ven. Without their hard work and dedication over the last few years we would not have the thriving branch we do.
