2025-2026 Knockout Finals

The 2026 PPBSO Ottawa Branch Knockout Finals brought together some of the region’s most dedicated young musicians for a day of skill, tradition, and community spirit. Hosted under the banner of the PPBSO Ottawa Branch the finals marked the culmination of a competitive season that featured pipers and drummers across Eastern Ontario.

The soloists showcased confident performances —particularly impressive among the junior divisions. Several competitors demonstrated poise beyond their years, maintaining composure through their performances. We would like to thank our talented Judges; Kahlil Cappuccino, Bob Waugh and Alan Clark for their encouraging feedback. They gave the competitors alot to chew on for the summer season.

A recurring highlight throughout the day was the camaraderie among competitors. The supportive atmosphere remains one of the defining strengths of the Ottawa Branch community.
