2025 Ottawa Branch Indoor Contest in Review!

May 10th, 2025, marked another successful Indoors Contents for the Ottawa Branch. We extend our gratitude to our entire community for the tremendous support shown to the Ottawa branch throughout the 2025 season.

There were over 160 entries overall from 91 solo contestants. We had over 130 piping, 21 snare, and 7 tenor and bass entries. Our largest contest were a tie this year with Grade 4 piping (over 18) judged by Chris Dodson with 19 contestants and Novice Piobaireachd judged by Brian Williamson with 19 contestants!

Participating in our band contests, there were 17 entries from 12 bands across 4 contests, including Drum Fanfare, Grade 5 and Grade 4 MSR, and Medley.

Also, we would like to thank our judges: Al Clark, Amy Garson, Brian Williamson, Chris Dodson, Craig Stewart, Ed Bush, Kahlil Cappucino and Ross Davison.

Their remarkable support and expertise are what make this event possible.
