Online Knockouts, PPBSO 2020 AGM & 50th Anniversary History Series

Online Knockout Series

Sign up and share your videos for the first event by November 7th

The Ottawa Branch Knockouts have been a staple in the region for decades. In light of COVID-19, this will be hosted online this season.

NEW for 2020-21

Celebrating fifty years! Competing is FREE for Branch members: The 2020-21 season marks the 50th anniversary of the Ottawa Branch. To mark this milestone, participation will be FREE for all Branch members that have paid their membership dues.

Bass and tenor categories are now part of the Knockouts: Following the success of the bass/tenor contest last season, we are including bass/tenor categories in the Knockouts!

Previous Branch event judges from across Eastern Ontario will be judging the events. Distribution will be determined based on entry levels.

We will be highlighting the history of piping and drumming in our region throughout our 50th year. You can contribute by submitting bios for individuals and organizations! If you are interested in contributing, please write to Graeme Ogilvie at graeme.ogilvie@sympatico.ca.
