Ottawa Indoor Highland Games: Full Results, and Upcoming Events

Thank you to all that participated in the 2017 Ottawa Indoor Highland Games in Kemptville on April 29th. The day saw nearly 100 solo competitors compete in 23 events, followed by quartet and band competitions in the afternoon.

This brings to a close the Branch’s 46th season, which also saw a closely contested Knockout Series, comprehensive workshops with Roddy MacLeod, and the Glengarry Cup in early April. The Branch is grateful for all of your support, without which these events would not be possible!

Throughout the summer, we will once again be tallying Eastern Ontario Champion Supreme points. Now in its 11th year, these aggregated results help recognize the success of pipers, drummers, and pipe bands at events across our region.

2017 Ottawa Indoor Highland Games Results

Unfortunately, an error was made in the announcement of Grade 1 prizes in Kemptville. We wish to congratulate Piper of the Day Ryan Ross on his results across all Grade 1 light music and piobaireachd categories.

We apologize to both Ryan Ross and Liam Melville–both of whom we have since contacted–for this mistake. More information on how Piper of the Day titles are calculated can be found here.
