Only a few days until our piobaireachd workshop and Knockout Final!

The Branch is honoured to host Dr. Angus MacDonald on March 3rd. Angus will provide a workshop that afternoon, judge the Knockout Finals and provide a recital thereafter!

Piobaireachd Workshop with Dr. Angus MacDonald

1. When: Saturday, March 3rd, 1 pm – 4 pm

2. Where: HMCS Bytown Naval Officers’ Mess, 78 Lisgar St. in downtown Ottawa

3. Focus: Dr. Angus will discuss a range of tunes across two themes, i) learning ceol mor and ii) judging ceol mor. This workshop is suitable for a range of experience levels.

Evening Entertainment: Knockout Finals

Join us after the piobaireachd workshop for the 2018 Knockout Final. Each finalist will play a medley of their own choice.

We will be joined by drumming judge Chris Bell, and piping judge Dr. Angus MacDonald, who will play a few tunes afterward!
