North Lanark Highland Games Results and Branch Updates

Great weather welcomed competitors at this year’s North Lanark Highland Games. In the band competitions, the Glengarry Pipe Band won the Grade 3 event, while Grade 4 went to the Arnprior MacNab Pipes and Drums. Grade 5 was won by the Durham Regional Police Pipes and Drums. In solo competition, Tyler Bridge and Mackenzie Chamberlain were awarded the Amateur Piper of the Day and Amateur Drummer of the Day titles respectively.

The PPBSO Ottawa Branch would like to extend its thanks to all volunteers that helped with the running of this year’s contest. In particular, we wish to thank Graeme Ogilvie for all of his efforts before, during, and after the event.

Full results from the day’s events are available here on the PPBSO website.

With the North Lanark Games concluded, the outdoor competition season in Eastern Ontario draws to a close for another year. 2015 Eastern Ontario Champion Supreme points have been tabulated and will be made available shortly. Next up is our annual Knockout Series, details of which are available here. The first Knockout takes place on October 3rd!
